Let the three numbers be a, b and c
Now according to the question
a+b+c = 98.......(i)

(a/b) = 2/3
a= (2/3)b.......(ii)

(b/c) = 5/8
c = (8/5)b......(iii)

Substituting the values of equation (ii) and (iii) in eq (i)
(2/3)b+b+(8/5)b=98
(49/15)b = 98
b = (2/15)
