Let the number = x

Twice of the number = 2x

Adding 5 = 2x + 5

According to the given question -

2x + 5 = 15

2x = 15 - 5

2x = 10

x = 10 ÷ 2

x = 5 .

Hence : The Number is 5 .

Check :

2x + 5 = 15

2(5) + 5 = 15

10 + 5 = 15

15 = 15 .
