We know that in case of any parallelogram the opposite sides are always equal and parallel. For the same reason, we can apply the formula of the perimeter of rectangle here which 2 ( l + b ), where l refers to the length of the rectangle and b refers to the breadth of the rectangle.

On pair of adjacent sides of a rectangle/ a parallelogram is it's length and breadth so in place of sum of length and breadth we can write 15 cm.

So, l + b = 15 cm

Therefore,

Perimeter of parallelogram/rectangle = 2 * 15 = 30 cm

Answer:

Hence, value of perimeter of parallelogram will be 30 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

In context to question asked,

We have to determine the value of perimeter of the parallelogram.

As per question,

Sum of Parallel sides of parallelogram are - 15 cm

As we know that,

  • Opposite sides of parallelogram are parallel and equal.
  • Perimeter of any figure can be determined by adding the length of sides of outer border of the figure.

So, for determining the value of perimeter of parallelogram we will use the formula - Perimeter = 2 (l +b) = 2 (Sum\: of \:both \:sides)

So, for determining the value of perimeter of parallelogram we will put the value of sides given in the question in above formula,

Thus we will get,

Perimeter =  2 \times 15 = 60\:cm
