The sum of two angles is 180 and their difference is 20. Find the measure of angles

The sum of the angles = 180°

ATQ,

[x + (x+20)]° = 180°

=> 2x + 20° = 180°

=> 2x = 180° - 20°

=> 2x = 160°

=> x = 160/2 °

=> x = 80°

Therefore the angles are 80°

and 100°

(because 80 + 20 = 100)
