the sum of two consecutive even numbers is 23 more than the average of these two numbers. what is the second number ?

Their Average => (x + x + 2)/2

=> Average = x + 1

ATQ,

=> x + x + 2 - 23 = x + 1

=> 2x - 21 = x + 1

=> x = 22

Thus the other number is 24.

Thus the numbers are 22 and 24

2x+2-x-1=23
