Let the first no. be x
Then the consecutive no. will be x+2
B/Q,
x+x+2= 46
2x =46-2
2x =44
x =44/2
=22
so, the first no. is 22 and second is 22+2 =24

et first number be x

Let the second number be x + 2

According to condition:

x + ( x+2) = 46

x +x +2=46

2x + 2 = 46

x = (46 - 2)/ 2

x = 22

So, the first number = x = 22

Second number = x+2 = 24

Hope this helps !
