The sum of two fractions is 4 5/12. If one of them is 2 3/10, find the other fraction?

Answer:

let the 2nd fraction =X

sum of two fraction=45/10

23/10+X=45/10

X=45/10-23/10=22/10

So the other fraction=22/10
