According to the question ,

➡A + B = 100 --- (i)

➡A - B = 99 --- (ii)

Add the equation (i) and (ii)

➡A + B + ( A - B ) = 100 + 99

➡A + B + A - B = 199

➡2A = 199

➡A = 199 ÷ 2

Put the value of A = 199/2 in equation (i)

➡199/2 + B = 100

➡B = 100 - 199/2

➡B = 200 - 199 ÷ 2

➡B = 1/2

Hence , A = 199/2 and B = 1/2
