Let x & y be the numbers then acc to Q we have, x+y=25 & x-y=13
4xy = (x+y)^2 - (x-y)^2
=(25)^2 - (13)^2
= 625 - 169 =456
So, xy=456/4 =114

let the numbers are x and y
so,
x+y=25..........(i)
x-y=13............(ii)
we get from i+ii____
2x=38
or x=38/2
or x=19
so y=25-x =25-19 = 6
then the product of two numbers are 19*6 =114
ans: 114
