and

sum of numbers
X+y = 2450............(1)

now

3x/50 = 2y/25

X = 2y×50/25×3
X = 4y/3

put the Value of X in equation 1

4y/3 +y = 2450

7y/3 = 2450

y = 2450×3/7

y = 350×3

y = 1050

X = 2450- 1050

X = 1400

Hence X = 1400, y = 1050 Ans
