Let the numbers be X and Y
Taking X > Y
Therefore from the given data we can gather that
(1) X + Y = 3Y + 2
(2) X - Y = 19

From the second equation we can say that:-
X = 19 + Y
Substitute this value of X in equation 1 to get
19 + 2Y = 3Y + 2
Rearrange the equation
Y = 17
X = Y + 19
X = 17 + 19
X = 36
