One is twice of another number.
Let,
the two number a and b.

Solution,
= a+b=60 ————(1)
= a=2b ————(2)

Put equation (2) in (1), we get
= a+b=60
= 2b+b=60
= 3b=60
= b=60/3
= b=20 ————(3)

Put equation (3) in (2), we get
= a=2b
= a=2*(20)
= a=40

a=40 and b= 20
