Let the greater number be x and the smaller number be y.

x+y=10

x-y=2

=> 2x=12

Therefore, x=6.

As, x-y=2

y=x-2=4.

=> x=6 & y=4.

The greater number is c)6.

hello mate!......

➡️ sum of two nums is 10

x+y=10

➡️ difference of that two nums is 2

x-y=2

add the two eqs.......

x+y+x-y=10+2

2x=12

x=6

sub this value in eqn....

6+y=10

y=4.

6>4

♧ option "C" is correct.
