The sum of two numbers is 10 and the diffrence is 8 what are the two numbers ?

Let the numbers be X and Y respectively

According to questions

X + Y =10....(1)

X - Y =8....(2)

Adding (1) and (2) We get

2x =18

X = 9

Putting x=9 in (1) we get Y =1
