x + y = 15..

and 1/ x + 1/y = 5/18

x +y / xy =5/18

15 /xy = 5/18

xy = 15*18/5

xy = 54.

(x-y)²=(x+y)²-4xy

(x-y) ^2 = 15^2- 4( 54) = 9

x-y = 3

15-9=y

y=6
