x + y=25
2x. = 38
x = 19

19+y =25
y=25-19
y=6

product of xy = 19x6
=114

Let the two number be x and y
Given that the sum of two numbers = 25
x + y = 25 (equation 1)

And also given that the difference between these two numbers = 13
x - y = 13 [Let x be the largest number] (equation 2)

Adding equation 1 and 2
x + y = 25
x - y = 13

2x = 38
x = 19

x + y = 25
y = 25 - 19 = 6

The numbers are 19 and 6
Therefore 
The product of the numbers = 19 * 6 = 114
