Let Two Numbers be=x and y

Sum of two Numbers=52

X+Y=52

X=52-Y. (Equation 1)

Difference=2

X-Y=2

.Putting Value of X=52-Y

52-Y-Y=2

52-2y=2

52-2=2y

50=2y

y=50÷2

y=25

We Get Y=25

X=52-Y

X=52-25

X=27

Prove

X+Y=52

27+25=52

X-Y=2

27-25=2

X=27

Y=25

Numbers=27,25

Answer:

Let the one number be x, then the other number will be ( 52 - x ).

According to the question,

x - ( 52 - x) = 2

x - 52 + x = 2

2x = 2 + 52

2x = 54

x = 54/2

x = 27

One number, x = 27

Other number, ( 52 - 27 ) = 25
