Let the numbers be x and y.
x+y = 55
And, as we know ,
product of two numbers =
product of their HCF and LCM
i.e. xy = 5*120.
Now,
1/x + 1/y = (y+x )/xy = 55/600 = 11/120.
So, Required answer is 11/120.
