As per 1st condition,
x+y=8
As per 2nd condition,
1/x + 1/y =8/15
Therefore, (x+y)/x.y =8/15
We already know that x+y=8
Hence, 8/x.y=8/15
Therefore, x.y=15
Now, only two solutions are possible
(x,y)=(3,5) or (1,15)
However, 1+15 is not equal to 8 (1st condition)
Hence the only solution is that the two numbers are 3 & 5.
