let the number be x

 \frac{3}{4}  +  x =  \frac{ - 2}{3}  \\ x =   \frac{ - 2}{3}  -  \frac{3}{4}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 8 + 9}{12}  \\ x =  \frac{1}{12}

hey buddy in the answer which is answered by lili8985 is wrong -1/4 is not the correct answer

he wrote (-2×4+3×3)÷12

but we know that -2×4+3×3 = -8+9 = 1

so please note that and mark me as brainliest as I wrote the correct answrr
