Answer: 83/10

Step-by-step explanation:let , another number be x

                                so,x+3/10=  -2/5+9

                      x +3/10 = -2+45/5

                    x+3/10 =43/5

                        x= 43/5-3/10  again taking l c m,

              x=43×2 -3/10

                  x=86 -3/10 =83/10

\Huge{\boxed{Solution}}

========================

Given :

Sum of two rational

number is \dfrac{-2}{5}+9.

========================

One of the nuber is \dfrac{3}{10}

========================

To find :

Other number.

========================

Let the :

Other number be 'x'

========================

According to question we

have to find other number.

========================

\implies x+\dfrac{3}{10}=\dfrac{-2}{5}+9\\\\\\\implies x+\dfrac{3}{10}=\dfrac{-2}{5}+\dfrac{9}{1}\\\\\\\implies x+\dfrac{3}{10}=\dfrac{-2+45}{5}

\\\\\\\implies x+\dfrac{3}{10}=\dfrac{43}{5}\\\\\\\implies x=\dfrac{43}{5}-\dfrac{3}{10}\\\\\\\implies x=\dfrac{86-3}{10}\\\\\\\implies x=\dfrac{83}{10}

========================

\Huge{\boxed{x=\dfrac{83}{10}}}

========================

\Huge{\underline{\underline{Verification}}}

\implies x+\dfrac{3}{10}=\dfrac{-2}{5}+9\\\\\\\implies\dfrac{83}{10}+\dfrac{3}{10}=\dfrac{-2}{5}+9\\\\\\\implies\dfrac{86}{10}=\dfrac{-2+45}{5}

\\\\\\\implies\dfrac{86}{10}=\dfrac{43}{5}\\\\\\\implies\dfrac{43}{5}=\dfrac{43}{5}

========================

Here' L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence it is verified.

========================

Therefore other number

is 83/10
