what happens to the images distance in the normal human eye when we decrease the distance of an object say 10m to 1m justify your answer

Answer: Image distance remains same - when the object is move from 10m to 1m from eye . our eye change its focal length so as to form image on retina itself therefore when we change object distance with in specified limits image distance still remains same due to the ability of accommodation.
