The sum of two rational number is -2.If one of the number is -14/5 ,find other number

according to the question

x+(-14/5) = -2

x-14/5 = -2

x = 14/5 - 2

x = (14-10)/5

x = 4/5 = 0.8

the other number = x = 0.8

then according to the question,
x/y+(-14/5) = -2
x/y-14/5 = -2
x/y = -2+14/5
