Given sum of two rational numbers -2

One of the number = -14/5

Then another number = ?

2-(-14/5) gives us the value of another number

= 2- (-14/5)

Taking LCM

It is given that

Sum of two rational numbers =12−7

One of the rational number =2413

Other rational number =x

2413+x=12−7

x=12−7−2413

LCM of 12 and 24 is 24

=12×2−7×2−2413

By further calculation

=24−14−2413

So we get

=24−14−13

=24−27

=8−9

Answer:

given, sum of two rational number is -3/5

one is -9/20

so, the other number = -3/5-(-9/20)

= -3/5+9/20

= -12/20+9/20

= -3/20
