The sum of two rational number is 3 if one of them is -4by5 find the other number

Let second rational number be X.


First number = -4/5.


Sum = 3


-4/5 + X = 3



-4 + 5X = 15


5X = 15+4


5X = 19


X = 19/5.




Other rational number = x = 19/5

Given in ur question sum of two rational no. is 3

x + ( - 4/5) = 3
x = 3 + 4/5
x = 15 + 4/5
x = 19/5 ✌
