sum of two fractions => -6/19

one of them => 8/57

let other be x

then ,

8/57 + x => -6/19

x => -6/19 - 8/57

x => (-18 - 8) /57

x => -26/57

Hope it helps

Let,

  • 2nd Number be x

Then,

According to Question :-

  =  &gt; x +  \frac{ 8}{57}  =  \frac{ - 6}{19}  \\  =  &gt; x =  \frac{</u></strong><strong><u>-</u></strong><strong><u>8}{57}  -  \frac{ 6}{19}  \\  =  &gt; x =  \frac{</u></strong><strong><u>-</u></strong><strong><u>8}{57}  -  \frac{6 \times 3}{19 \times 3}  \\  =  &gt; x =  \frac{</u></strong><strong><u>-</u></strong><strong><u>8  -  18}{57}  \\  =  &gt; x =  \frac{ - </u></strong><strong><u>2</u></strong><strong><u>6</u></strong><strong><u>}{57}

Hence,

  • Second Number is -26/57
