HELLO DEAR FRIEND

Given the sum of two rational number = -7/4.

one of them is -4

let the another be x

ATQ,

x + (-7/4) = -4

x - 7/4 = -4

x = -4 + 7/4

x = 9/4
So, the another number is  \large \boxed{ \frac{ \large{ 9}} { \large{4}} }

\bf{\blue{SOLUTION:-}}

Let the number = x

Then,

x + ( - 4) =  \frac{ - 7}{4}

x =  \frac{ - 7}{4}  + 4

x =  \frac{ - 7}{4}  +  \frac{16}{4}

x =  \frac{ - 7 + 16}{4}

x =  \frac{9}{4}

The other number is (9/4)
