Let the other rational number be x

According to question

X + 1/3 = - 27/9

X = - 27/9 - 1/3

X = (- 27 - 3)/9 = - 30/9

X = - 10/3

Verify :-

-10/3 + 1/3 = -27/9

(-10 + 1)/3 = -27/9

-9/3 = -9/3
