Sum of -5/6 & x is 8

→ -5/6 + x = 8

→ (6x - 5)/6 = 8

→ 6x - 5 = 48

→ 6x = 48 + 5

→ x = 53/6 _________ (Ans.)

So, the other Rational number is 53/6
