and i did try 11 and 4

from first condition

x+y=14 .......(1)

from second condition

x-y=4.......(2)

add equation 1 and 2

x+y=14

x-y=4

2x=18

x=9

put x=9 in eq 1

x+y=14

9+y=14

y=14-9

y=5

two no. are 9 and 5
