The poem is about the sports cricket. The poet is sad about the sports as he feels it is not fair for both the team players. The batsman is given more importance than the ballers.

He compares our society with the cricket. The batsman who have not done much hard work than the baller receives more appreciation. Likewise, the rich who have not done much hard work than the poor, is tagged more valuable.
