The sun appears white at noon from the earthâs surface. why

At noon, the sun is at the top and the light rays coming from it have to travel less distance in the atmosphere of earth. Hence, all colours get scattered very less, even blue. so it appears white

It is due to atmospheric refraction.And at noon sun is at top of our head it means it travel very short distance.When light comes it is scattered but at noon it is hard to see because of short distance so all light mix with each other and looks white
