Answer:

let the angle be x °

then , it's complement = 90 - x

and supplement = 180 - x

according to question

180 -x = 3( 90 - x)

=> 180 - x = 270 - 3x

=> - x + 3x = 270 - 180

=> 2x = 90

=> x = 90/2 = 45°

so the angle is 45°
