The supplementary angles are differ by 34° what are the angles

Here is your answer,


um of supplementry angles=180°

let the first angle be x

then , other angle=x+34

now x+x+34=180

=2x+34=180

=2x=180-34

=2x=146

=x=73

other angle=73+34=107

Let two supplementary angles are X and Y .




Therefore,



X - Y = 34 ----------(1)


And,



X + Y = 180 ----------(2)



From (1) , we get


X = ( Y + 34 ) ---------(3)



Putting the value of X in (2) , we get



X + Y = 180


Y + 34 + Y = 180



2Y = 146



Y = 73°



Putting the value of Y in (3) , we get


X = 73° +34



X = 107°.


Hence,


Two supplementary angles are 73° and 107°.
