Answer C is correct i guess, because in symplast pathway Water molecules passes through aquaporin present in root endodermis and in apoplastic pathway which is when the water molecules moves/ travels across the cell wall stops when it reaches the endodermis. So generally to disrupt the symplast pathway malfunctioning of water transport channels ( aquaporin )of root endodermis will be easy. I hope you got this ..
