The tank-full of petrol in arun's motor-cycle lasts for 10 days. if he starts using 25% more everyday, how many days will the tank-full of petrol last?

●Total amt of petrol when tank is full = x litres
●The amt. of petrol Arun uses everyday = x÷10
●Amt of petrol used if he starts using 25% more petrol everyday = (x÷10)×(25%) + (x÷10)
= x/40 + x/10
= 5x/40 = x/8
●let n be the No. of days, petrol lasts when he uses 25% more petrol
then,
x/8 × n = x
n = x × 8/x
n = 8
◆so the answer is 8 days
