Solution:-
Let the fixed charges be: ₹x
Let the charge per km be: ₹y
A/Q,
x+10y=315 ....(1)
and
x+15y=465. ....(2)
On Subtracting eq. (1) & (2). We get,
5y=150
y=30
Now, putting the value of y in eq. (1) we get,
x+10y=315
x+300=315
x=15
Hence, the fixes charges of a city is ₹15
and charge per km is ₹30
Now, for travelling a distance of 32km
x + 32y = 15 + 32×30 = ₹ 975
Thus , a persona has to pay ₹ 975 for travelling a distance of 32km.
