the taxi charges in a city consists of a fixed charge together withthe charge for the distance covered for a distance of 10 km the charge paid rs 105 and for journey of 15 km the chargepaid rs 155 whatare the fixed charges nd the charges per km ?

Hit and trial method.
Distance =10km
105 = 15+90= 15Rs for the first km which is fixed and 10Rs per km(15×1+10×9=105 for 10 km).

Distance=155
155= 15+140= 15 Rs fixed for the first km and 10Rs per km (15×1+10×14=155for 15 km).

It satisfy the condition.
