The teacher tells the class that the highest marks obtained by a student in her class is three times the lowest marks minus seven. If the highest marks is 86, find the lowest marks. Hey! All those equation experts, can y'all help me solve this question? ​

Let the highest marks x

And lowest marks y

ATQ

x=3y-7

86=3y-7

93=3y

y=31
