The temperature at 12 noon was 10°C above zero. If it decreases at the rate of 2°C
per hour until midnight, at what time would the temperature be 8°C below zero
What would be the temperature at mid-night?​

see at 12 noon it is 10°C above zero.

It is decreasing @ 2°C/ hour until mid-night (12 a.m)

so , at midnight the temperature would be 10×2=20°C (without considering 0 line)

so at midnight it would be 10°C below 0 or -10°C.

And at 1 p.m the temperature will be 8°C.
