the temperature of ice remains the same (0°c) till all the ice completely melt into water, so that water at 0°c is formed. what happened to the heat absorbed by ice during its melting.. why the temperature is not increased during melting of ice, even though heat was absorbed?

THE REASON FOR THE TEMPERATURE TO NOT RISE WAS BECAUSE WHEN THE ICE WAS MELTING,THE HEAT SUPPLIED WAS USED IN MELTING THE ICE.
SO,THE TEMPERATURE DID NOT RISE.
