Black body radiation..

   According to Wien's displacement law, we have that the spectral radiance of a black body is highest for the wavelength λ given by :

   λ = b / T

       T = Absolute temperature of the black body
       b = Wien's displacement constant = 2, 897.77 micrometers-Kelvin
          ≈ 2900 μm-°K

  Given T = 27, 727° C = 28000 °K

    λ = 2897.77 /28000   micrometers
       = 0.10349 μm
       = 103.49 nm    This will be in the range of Ultraviolet rays ...

Anonymous: Sir, Can we take approximation here ? Like is it ok for medical students to take approximation?
abhi178: Significant use in case of approximation . Then I think this valid in all exams :)
Anonymous: Ok! Thanks Abhi :)
abhi178: significant figure you know very well , if i am right
abhi178: :)
kvnmurty: yes approximate answer will be okay.
Anonymous: yes abhi I know significant figures
Anonymous: and thank you sir for help
