WHEN CLOTH SOAKED IN SPIRIT IT FILLS THE GAP BETWEEN THE CLOTH ,SO IF IT COVERS THE BULB IT REDUCES THE LIGHT COMING OUT ,SO THE HEAT DECREASES,THEN TEMPERATURE RECORDED BY THE THERMOMETER DECREASES.
