Given :  The tens digit in a two-digit number is twice the unit’s digit.

To find : Which of the given is correct expression for the reversed number

Solution:

Let say two digit  number  = ab

Value of  number = 10a + b

tens digit = a

unit digit = b

The tens digit in a two-digit number is twice the unit’s digit.

=> a  = 2b

10(2b) + b  = 21b   ( is the number)

reverse of the number  =  ba

= 10b + a

= 10b + 2b

= 12b

Hence 12x   is the right expression for the reversed number
