SOLUTION :

The thickness of the hollow metallic cylinder = 2cm

The length of the hollow metallic cylinder = 35 cm

The inner radius (r) of the hollow cylinder = 12 cm

The outer radius (R) of the hollow cylinder = inner radius + thickness

                                                                       = 12 + 2

                                                                       = 14 cm

Now,

To be found :-

The volume of the hollow metallic cylinder

Volume = πh( \ {R}^{2} -  \ {r}^{2} )

            = \frac{22}{7} \times 35 ( \ { (14)}^{2} -  \ { (12)}^{2} )

             =  22 \times 5 (  192 -   144 )

             = \boxed{\bold{5720 \: cm \: square}}

Hence,

The volume of the hollow metallic pipe is 5720 cm square.
