Answer:

Let the 1st term be=2n+5=2(1)+5=7

a=7

Let 2nd term be=2n+5=2(2)+5=4+5=9

a_{2}=9

=a_{2}-a_{1} \\ =9-7\\=2

So d=2

So the 3rd term=a+(n-1)d

=7+(3-1)2

=7+2×2

=7+4

=11

ANSWER :

Since we want the third term ,

We take n = 3

a3 = 2(3) + 5

a3 = 6+5

= 11

Therefore the third term of the sequence is 11 .
