The Western Coastal Plains lie between the Western Ghats and the west coast of India. They stretch from Gujarat to Kerala and include Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka. They are divided into three sections. The northern part is known as the Konkan, which comprises Mumbai-Goa region. The central part is known as the Kanara, and the southern part is called the Malabar Coast.
