frequency=1/time  period
=1/0.2
=5

Given :

Time period of oscillation of simple pendulam is 0.2 seconds

To Find :

Frequency of oscillation of simple pendulam

Solution :

We know that ,

Frequency = 1/ Time period

or

f = 1/T

Also , we know that Time period of oscillation of simple pendulam is 0.2 seconds

Which means that Simple pendulam takes 0.2 seconds to complete one oscillation.

So , frequency (f) = 1/(0.2)

f = 5 Hz

Which means simple pendulam oscilates 5 times in one second .

Hence , frequency of oscillation of simple pendulam is 5 Hz
