Hey mate,.

Let us Consider,

S=ut+1/2at

As we know s is the 'Displacement' But the displacement of the ball is the height of the tower.

So, u=(-19.6)--(as initial vel is in the opp. direction)

t=5s

g=9.8m/s

2 Substituting the values you get it as 24.5m(I hope it is correct) 20

Use v=u+at as

v=?

u=(-19.6)

a=9.8

t=5

v=29.4m/s
