work done by the machine = mgh

                                             = 200.40.10

                                             =80000J

 given power= 10kw

                   = 10×1000 W

power= work÷time

therefore time = work ÷power

                       =80000÷10000

                          = 8 seconds

I THINK THIS WOULD BE THE ANSWER YOU ARE SEARCHING .........

Power= 10kW= 10000W

Mass(m)= 200kg

Height(h)= 40meters

Force of gravity (g)= 10m/(s*s)

Work done= mgh

= 200X40X10

= 80000J

Time = Power/Work done

= 80000/10000

= 8 seconds

lekshmisantosh2003: mass is 200 kg
